   sf3 was a great game,regardless of what the company says the gamers are what matters the most and most of them loved it.yea sf4 sold way more and drew way more attention but you have to think about this,it took nearly a decade and a half for them to release another game.And to me the character selection couldve been way better than what it was.But thats my opinion and you have yours and i would appreciate it if you didnt bash me about mines

    oh haha no, i did that because i said they need to put sean back in street fighter 4, but he was never in street fighter 4, so i said they need to put sean in the game..cuz he was my fave..

    They should’nt even be put in the same category. SF is 2D and Tekken is 3D. Now Street Fighter is the king of 2D fighters and would be rivaled by KOF if the SNK developers were as smart and creative as the Capcom developers. But Tekken is the king of 3D fighters hands down. They should never be compared. Thats like comparing Shaquille O’Neal to Cal Ripken, Jr. THAT CONVO should NEVER BE TOUCHED!!!

    I’m well aware of the differences when I made that comment I was referring to gamers I have come across who have made that statement and there have been quite a few who prefer Tekken over SF. Why can’t they be compared? They are in the same genre the dimensions are just different. So wouldn’t it be more like comparing Shaq & Kobe being that they play the same sport but you can’t compare cuz they play different positions? IMO I like Soul Calibur better than Tekken.

    There engines are different as well. While SF is based on the simple commands such as down slant forward (2x) P or K to do some wild ass 24 hit combo in 3seconds Tekken is a more grounded « Do it yourself » type of game. But 1 is a sissy for walking from either game. If someone isn’t too picky and can play all fighting games they would see that SF and Tekken have all the strong points and none of the weakness. The Soul Series is also in its own catagory being a hack n slash. Like all 3 though

    I like all three as well SF being my personal all time favorite. I’m looking forward to SSFIV I plan on getting it for PS3 cuz I have SFIV for 360 and the D-Pad is just horrible lol and I’m not a huge fan of the arcade sticks. I’m just glad Capcom’s not charging 60 bucks for the game I’m hoping it’s only 40 that seems fair.

    Tru dat. I had a tantrum trying to beat seth with abel on 360. Took me a good hour. Got used to it though. I use Ken good enough to get by on 360. Thats it

    I’ll admit Seth use to kick my ass but I learned his attack pattern over time now he’s easy to defeat. The first round he hardly puts up a fight then goes crazy the next few rounds lol. You gotta space yourself where you can attack him right after he does Dhalsim’s low fierce punch that’s when he’s exposed.

    I learned that too. Whats fun is giving seth a taste of his on medicine by playing through with seth. Thats what I call payback lol

    all modern figthing games have copied the same formula created by SFII super poyectiles: SF (I´m not sure if they created this one but they were the ones that made it so popular) multicultural characters, FEMALE characters, game veterans and some modern games agree that SF is granddady of the fighting genre
